Integrated Valve Integrity Management(i-VIM) &Real-Time Monitoring (RTM)
Challenge:
We are working with 2 major clients involved in diverse segments covering similar operational environment. One of whom is a major global mining conglomerate and other client is a major power producer with multitude of assets in Australia. The common factors are they both have assets involved in producing power and involves chemical. Thus, have a common need to find a solution to similar severe service applications involving chemical, temperature and pressure.
Approach:
Our Team @ TRICON have had some significant success in servicing, supplying & providing solution for severe service application. Having facilitated completion of their annual shutdown we embarked in tagging their assets and recording valve performance as a part of our routine i-VIM we found lot of similarities in their asset performance, impact and data sets.
Solution:
Our solution and approach to jointly solve theirs set performance issues revealed some strategic deductions that we utilized to cross lean and apply concepts and learning from each situation. The approach to analyses Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) to identify root cause facilitated the foundation for the solution.
Outcome:
While each client had unique set of variables, analysis of the data and parameters helped us find a solution. This was further augmented by access to learning from “Big Data” through our partnership with major global industry leaders & supply chain. TRICON is embarking on Internet of Things (IOT) and forming synergies across the globe to collaborate and learn new developments.
