Supply and retrofit skid for an offshore gas plant that required parts required special approval of IECEx due to the functionality and application involving strong chemicals. The project required careful planning and approvals for change management for modifications. The project had tight timelines and budget constraints.

Approach:

Our team worked closely with the integrator & client to secure various parts and components which had required approvals from various global agencies to ensure conformance & compliance. A rigorous sourcing team was assigned to undertake this study, documentation, change management and certificate of acceptance to validate changes and supplies.

Solution:

We have researched and sourced the best quality products from various global manufacturers and maintained management of change process to ensure changes were documented, risk assessed and complied with.

Outcome:

We have now developed our capability in-house to undertake estimating, scheduling, drawing, fabrication and surface treatment of skids. We have also formed strategic partnership and alignment to source components required to fulfill a wide range of requirements.
